Since our founding, we and our overseas group companies have been exporting Japanese publications, music and video software, excellent Japanese stationery, sundry goods, and Cool Japan products to major retailers in overseas markets, Japanese residents in countries around the world, university libraries, Japanese research institutions, Japanese schools, and others. We also import foreign books, music CDs, and miscellaneous goods from overseas. These businesses are conducted through an international network of subsidiaries and affiliates located in major overseas locations.

    Established in 2000 as a specialty store for Japanese books, Japanese language materials, stationery, and household goods in London, UK, we sell Japanese cultural goods to many local people as well as Japanese people. As our base in Europe, we promote online and wholesale sales of Japanese language materials, stationery and sundries.

    In order to make a major business transition in development, Culture Japon SAS, which was dissolved in 2016, changed its name to JPT FRANCE S.A.R.L. and was newly established in 2018. It plays an important role as the JPT Group's base in mainland Europe.

    Since its establishment in 1962, the company's U.S. base has been engaged in the wholesale distribution of Japanese language materials, Japanese books, Japanese magazines, English-language publications related to Japanese culture, stationery, paper products, and household goods. It also plays an important role in market information gathering and headquarter stationing operations. As a logistics base in the U.S., the company has a large warehouse that stores inventory, ships to customers throughout the U.S., and distributes cargo from Japan, giving it the strength to respond quickly and flexibly to local customer demand.
