As we do every year, Japan Publications Trading Co., Ltd. had new publications presentations of books we plan to publish in 2007, in five major cities of Japan, namely Fukuoka, Osaka, Nagoya, Tokyo, and Sapporo, beginning on November 14th. The focus was, as usual, on those non-Japanese books we have chosen to publish, a core line of the items we carry. This year, thanks to kind co-hosting by Maruzen Co., Ltd., we had many visitors from college co-ops at the presentations, in addition to the “regular” customers from bookstores. Depending on the location, we presented some graphic books, which won appreciation of many. The presentations this year ended in success. At the get-togethers following the respective presentations, the presenters from publishers had a good time with people from bookstores and co-ops. They all loved the fellowship they had there. Next year again, we plan to hold newly-designed presentations. We are looking forward to seeing all of you there.
